Skipped Blocks in Retool Workflow

The workflow is currently skipping some blocks during scheduled runs, as seen in the Run History > Blocks section. Several blocks that are connected properly do not appear in the execution path, and no success or failure results are logged for them.

Important Notes:

  • This issue is intermittent for two times in a row — the workflow used to run all blocks correctly in the past.
  • When the workflow is run manually, all blocks execute as expected without issues.
  • Screenshots attached: one showing a complete run, and another highlighting the missing blocks.

This appears to be a Retool execution engine bug or race condition. Please investigate why some connected blocks are being skipped during automated runs.

Few missing steps from running

Hey @Islam_AlAfifi, it's been a while, glad to see you staying active in the Community forum again

Just wanted to clarify a few things before we dig deeper into this.
Have you published your recent changes? Are you running the workflows manually or are they scheduled?

Also, just pointing it out, it looks like the second screenshot has a FormatParticipants block that the first one does not have.

Hi @ChiEn
Thanks for the prompt response. I can see the skipped steps were displayed one day later, so it might be a glitch or something. It's working now as expected. Thanks again!
