I’m encountering consistent issues with the Retool Vectors feature:
- Any attempt to upload a file (even a small one-line sentence PDF) results in a “Failed to fetch” error (see screenshot attached).
- Workflows that attempt to use Retool Vectors always timeout or return a 504 error, even for the simplest test cases.
This happens across multiple attempts and files, leading me to believe it’s likely a platform issue rather than a configuration issue on my end.
Could you please advise if there are known issues affecting the Vectors feature or suggest any immediate troubleshooting steps?
Update - I have just tried to replicate the exact same process on another retool instance different organisation, and no issues atall. So it looks like retool version I am currently using keeps erroring out for any iteration of vector I try do, even something as simple as the below. I am using the cloud retool database, pg_extension is installed, never had issues before.
