I am playing around with the Retool Vectors and I can't seem to figure out how the Metadata field can be useful. It does not appear to be able to reference other parts of the workflow...
So what is the point of this? Is this a bug? I don't know what static object would be useful to write there if I can't reference another workflow block.

Could you keep your data in separate vectors to help compartmentalize (create a new vector for each workflow run)?
Any updates on how to reference data with {{ }} in the vector code component? This is an essential feature to structure the uploaded documents.

No update on the ticket yet unfortunately, but I did find a work around for you from another user on the forum.
I did add on a +1 for you to the ticket and set the priority to be higher so hoping this gets some engineering bandwidth soon
