Recently (last two weeks) there have been issues connecting to AWS (specifically us-west-1). Queries running multiple minutes to all resources, event simple S3 GetObject. What is the ETA on fixing this?

Out of curiosity, were you able to attribute the original connection issues you described to specific network and/or infrastructure configurations?
It was region-independent issue
