Hello,
I am trying to connect a retool DB with a desktop (free) version of PowerBI. I get the following error "The remote certificate is invalid according to the validation procedure." I am using the following information when entering the Server and Database. Any idea where I might be going wrong?
DB connection string:
postgresql://production:password@ABC123.retooldb.com/production
How we entered in PowerBI:
Server: ABC123.retooldb.com
Database: production

Hey @Sarah_Hirsch! Found a couple of posts on the PowerBI forum that point to a solution for this error. Can you give that a try and let us know if you can connect?
@joeBumbaca thanks for following up! I did find that the second solution posted on the forum worked for me!
In a nutshell, in the data source settings in PowerBI, I turned off encrypt connections. I was then able to follow the normal steps to link the DB and it worked like a charm.
