Read data from USB scanner on a web app

Hi there , new to programming and retool.
In my web app i want to find the value of the event when i scan a qr code from a usb scanner.

In an input text it gets created automatically when i scan using the usb scanner.

But i need it to be on a variable that i can use

I want to create a listener to return me the data of the qr code without clicking on an input text

Hey @Mohamed_Touihri! Where do you want to return this data? Any screenshots of your current setup would be great!
