I would like to request extra features for MapBox component
- styling choice (instead of the current gray map only)
- different markers depending on custom attributes of a data point

Thanks for the feature request! I will share this with our team internally.
Transparently, I don't think this is likely to make it into our near term roadmap, since we already have some larger projects in the works. We will log it in our backlog for future projects though! I know a lot of folks would like to see additional features on the native Mapbox component.
In the meantime, I recommend using a custom component (Build custom React components | Retool Docs) to access these features

I've got the solution here, in case someone is researching. Or Retool team can add this
+1 for this feature to change markers, or marker colours, in mapbox based on atttributes. I know a custom component has been shared though can be a bit fiddly so would be good to have inbuilt solution OOTB
