How do we change date input format for Mobile App?

We are in the process of creating a mobile application, however, we've added a date input which needs to be in MM/DD/YYYY for our American client. There does not appear to be a way to change the format of this though upon editing it?

Is there anywhere in which this can be set?

Good question! Normally, this should be displayed based on the user's locale setting, but I just tried changing mine and it doesn't seem to affect how the date is displayed in the input.

Looking forward to seeing Retool team's suggestions.
