Has anyone else lost work after migration from 3.267.0 to 3.268.0

We're working on several apps for a client and noticed the edited version suddenly lost a few days worth of changes. The published version was fine but every time we tried to revert to that version, it crashed. Also, whenever we try and restore to an earlier point, I get an error popup saying "Error retreiving page: Page with uuid "xxxxx" not found

I noticed in the history tab the following line

Ran migrations from 3.267.0 to 3.268.0

I'm using the cloud version on the business plan.

Could this be the issue? we're close to launching with our client and this is causing a big headache.

The error message says: "Error retrieving page: Page with uuid "bfbb68bf-f1c8-41b5-be2a-dea4df231708" not found.

The app uuid is /3029548c-7b62-11f0-aab1-074a54186583

All help much appreciated!!

Tim

Can you send me a har file from your network tab of this error happening?

Alternatively, can you tell me what the message of the page save that you're trying to revert to is in your history tab?

HI Mike,

Not sure where the network tab / har file is.

It's something close to "cannot read properties (appTemplate)"
I also get a message "error retrieving page: page with uuid "bfbb68bf-f1c8-41b5-be2a-dea4df231708" not found

tbh I'd settle for the app returning to the version from last night or this morning. I did a ton of work over the last couple of days and much of it has disappeared.

I can give more details if you need - or move this onto email / other channel?

Thanks for your help!

Sorry I'll clarify, I meant the message in your history tab that you're reverting to, ex:

This thread is fine to to continue in but if you'd like to direct message me that works as well.

Hey @TimC -- I'm an engineer on the team working on this. We've been looking into this, and it seems like this error is coming because bfbb68bf-f1c8-41b5-be2a-dea4df231708 is referring to a module that was deleted.

We are working on undoing the delete so that you can have access to it again. Will report back once we've made that change!

My post above is addressing the error you see when you try to revert.

Regarding the actual data loss though, I had a few questions that would help us narrow down the issue:

  1. Did you see any error messages before the information got lost? Did anything popup in the bottom right corner in red saying something like "Failed to save"?
  2. If you could point to (in the history tab) which saves were overwritten, that would be very helpful. This would help us looks through some logs.
  3. Do you remember if there were mutliple people editing this app? Or if it was 1 person who maybe had the tab open over a few days and perhaps the tab was stale?

Hiya,

Thanks for your help so far…

The error messages have been steadily getting more frequent over the last few weeks. I tend to get 5-6 a day now

I noticed this afternoon the issue in overwritten saves. I had published a version which my UAT users were using (published yesterday). But when I was using the editor today, many of the changes made over the last few days had disappeared.

I spotted it on 2 specific pages where changes made were quite obvious to see.

Re multiple people - there’s 2 of us that have been working on the app. Myself and Miguel Ortiz, although I’ve done most of the work on this one

Hope that helps?

Tim

Hi Tim,

And have you seen these errors (5-6 a day over the last few weeks) across several apps/orgs or just the one you originally messaged about? Feel free to DM/email me, but would be very helpful in our investigation to know which apps/subdomains to look into.

Best,
Erin

Also @TimC -- we added back the deleted module. Reverting to a previous version should hopefully fix the issue now. Let me know how it goes!

@Darya_Verzhbinsky, I experience the same issue.
My message says

  • Error retrieving page

Page with uuid "4aebd29c-ca26-11ef-b2b7-2351454e9d18" not found

  • Error retrieving page

Page with uuid "4aebd29c-ca26-11ef-b2b7-2351454e9d18" not found

My live release, updated in August, stopped working today.

Thank you,
Mia
