Issue:
Currently, the Alert component in Retool (both legacy and new versions) lacks built-in options to adjust the font style, font size, or weight. This limits customization and makes it difficult to match the alert’s appearance with other UI elements in an app.
Why This Matters:
- Readability & Emphasis: Some alerts require larger text for visibility, especially for important warnings or instructions.
- Branding & UI Consistency: Without font control, alerts may look out of place compared to other text components in the app.
- Workarounds Are Limited: While CSS overrides can be used, they’re not an ideal solution for non-technical users or for maintaining consistency across multiple alerts.
Feature Request:
- Font Size Control – Ability to adjust text size directly within the component settings.
- Font Weight & Style – Options to set bold, italic, or different fonts.
- Per-Section Customization – If possible, allow different formatting for title, description, and actions separately.
