'Failed Move to trash' error

Hello,

We are getting a "Failed Move to trash" error when trying to move an app to the trash. I own the app and there is no other apps with the same name in the trash. How can I resolve this error?

Edit* I also noticed this also happens when trying to move apps to a new folder. It gives a similar error saying 'failed to move item'

Thanks for reaching out! A few questions for you --

Is your team using source control? Is this a multi-instance Retool set up?

Does renaming the app allow you to move or delete it?

Are you able to query the database that powers your self hosted instance? I'm curious if the page_saves table has any records for this specific app

Any chance your app permissions have changed? The Failed to move to trash error can come up if you only have use permissions on the app.

Although we don't really use it, we do have Retool's Git syncing enabled. We don't have a multi-instance Retool set-up.

Unfortunately, renaming the app does not allow me to move or delete it and my permissions for that app has not changed.

I did noticed records for the app in the page_saves table. What does that mean?

Thanks for following up! There was a similar issue someone ran into recently where they didn't have page saves for their app, which prevented deleting it

I'll do some more research though & follow up here

Can you also share the container logs from when trying to delete?
