Using multiple environments connected via source control can get confusing due to the fact you cannot rename environments.
You end up having staging with "Production" environment and production with "Production" environment which ends up confusing many developers not familiar with Retool.
Another improvement here would be completely disabling environments if the instances are set-up as multiple environments via environment variables.
