Clickable Notifications

It's nice and easy to display Notifications, but I'd love if they were clickable. So some way to take an action when clicking on a notification while it's shown.

My most common use-case would be to navigate somewhere when clicking on a Notification. I guess the most flexible way would be to be able to run a script when clicked. That way anything would be possible.

I think modals are the natural current state choice for this functionality, but I like the look of the notifications more.

Yes, they also serve a different purpose from modals, since they are unobtrusive. I use them for realtime message notifications.
