We built a custom real-time chat component using React and WebSocket within Retool's Own Custom Component. This allows you to integrate any JavaScript or React library into your Retool app. For testing, we used piehost.com to connect to the WebSocket. Here's more information on how we developed the custom component.
This is very neat, @ZeroCodez! Thanks for sharing. I've always enjoyed developing with the WebSocket API, so it's cool to bring it into Retool. And piehost.com is new to me, but seems like a powerful tool.
Definitely appreciate your contributions to the community.
