AI Assist Not working (new Free Account; cloud hosted)

  1. My goal: I am trying to use the AI Assist to expirement with building an app, but it will not run.
  2. Issue: When I submit a prompt (to either Ask or Build mode), I get this error:
    Something went wrong. Please try again. If the issue persists, it may be an issue with your Anthropic or OpenAPI key. Please contact your admins, or use Retool's provided keys by going to Resources > Retool AI.
  3. Steps I've taken to troubleshoot: I have made sure that AI tools are enabled in AI Settings. I am the admin on my company account (only user, established account today). I have tried adding a new resrouce with my own Anthropic API key - I got a “problem with one or more api keys” yellow box box up when loading editor assist page.4
  4. Additional info: I created a new account today (Free tier). It is cloud hosted. It is running Retool version 3.378.0. I am using Chrome browser Version 147.0.7727.102 (Official Build) (64-bit).

Hey @vermillionaire! Welcome to the Community - and thanks for letting us know. I've verified the behavior on a brand new org and let the owning engineering team know. As soon there is an update to share, I'll do so here. :+1:

Welcome to the community, @dkind! Is this a new instance that you're configuring for the first time or something that was previously working fine? And do you know if you're using Retool-managed keys?
