Is there any way to adjust the snap grid in design mode. It has 12 units horizontally and only allows snapping to whole numbers. I find often that being able to define something at half steps would be great, e.g. to have a gap between containers. I understand this layout may be set by something like bootstrap. So the answer may be an easy no.

While the original feature request hasn't been prioritized, we have shipped padding/margin controls and the Stack component to help with custom layouts
I can get some screenshots but a common thing for me to need to overcome is with buttons. I usually like putting very little buttons near things like under an image component. Usually have to mess around too much with dud containers set with not margins or padding to get the small button size. It's an issue in more areas than that but that one stands out for me. It would be neat if the grid size could be tied to an individual child component rather than a parent. If child components had a setting called grid scale set by default to 1. Maybe it would be a drop down with 1/4, 1/2, 1 and 2.
