Workflows Retool On-Prem (Azure) on Business Plan

I have deployed a retool on-prem on azure with a business plan, how do I get workflows to work?

The pricing plan claims I have 5000 runs? How do I utilize this?

Hi @abdul_Amoud, welcome to the forum!
We may need to update our docker-compose file to set up Temporal.
On a business plan, you'll need a self-managed cluster.

Will the self managed cluster host my retool or just workflows?

Hey @abdul_Amoud - at its core, Temporal is a scheduling and coordination service that helps to ensure the asynchronous execution of all workflow logic. Importantly, it is a separate entity that runs alongside Retool in a fairly independent manner.

As @Paulo mentioned above, the fact that you're on a Business plan means you'll need to provision your own Temporal service. There are generally two options for doing so:

  1. Sign up for a Temporal Cloud account
  2. Run a local Temporal container alongside Retool, as configured here

Let me know how you intend to proceed and I'd be happy to help you with next steps!
