After moving from the cloud to a local installation (business subscription) retool throws OPEN_AI_PROXY_API_TOKEN. Do I miss something? I contacted the people mentioned in an older post but they replied with instructing me how to setup my personal OpenAI token.
Hey @Markus_von_der_Heiden - welcome to the community forum!
There are a few different environment variables that you need to define in order to use AI actions in an on-prem instance, including the OPENAI_PROXY_API_TOKEN
. You are welcome to use the Retool-provided token, but keep in mind that it may be severely rate-limited and is not suitable for production applications.
I'll go ahead and send it to you via DM, if you're interested. Please note that this is a sensitive piece of information and should be stored as a secret in your deployment or accessed via a secrets manager.
