Transfer custom auth from classic retool to new react

Question / Description: I’m trying to transfer an existing app from classic Retool to the new Retool. I am unable to get my custom Auth that used to work, to work on the new app. I’m quite junior and not sure what else to try. I’m getting the error that it needs to be headless, but I need to know who is signed in.

Hey @Cecilia welcome to the Community, I know your coworker joined us for Office Hours last week!

I've reached out internally and confirmed that custom authentication with a form/modal is not currently supported in the new app builder. This applies both to fresh apps and to apps converted from classic app.

I've flagged your use case with the team and it's on their radar. I'll share more when we have a solution! :folded_hands:
