Good question, @Kshitij_Srivastava! And welcome to the community. I broke out your question into a separate thread just to keep the conversation going.

Organizations running a self-hosted instance are free to modify this value themselves via the retoolDBQueryRateLimitRequestsPerMinute column in the organizations table. We're currently looking into unlocking this completely or exposing an environment variable, at the very least, in order to make this a little bit more straightforward.

For cloud customers, the answer is a little more nuanced. Yes, it is possible, but it's not something we often do. Even then, there needs to be an established need and, usually, a plan for migrating to a more sustainable solution. The primary reason for this is that we never really intended that RetoolDB be a place for storing mission-critical data. It has a really low barrier to entry and is super convenient, but lacks certain production features - automated backups being the big one.

I hope that answers your question!
