Renew AWS SSL/TLS Certificate

Hello,

I run cloud-hosted retool, which connects to my Postgres database on AWS RDS.

I keep getting emails from AWS saying: Update Your Amazon RDS and Amazon Aurora SSL/TLS Certificates by August 22, 2024

I'm a little lost here, i'm already out my depth having AWS in the first place - but it has worked for me, so I've stuck with it.

Can someone tell me? do I need to do anything about this on retool's end, before I update the CA on my AWS Postgres DB?

Hope to hear,
Neil

I think this SO post or one of the other ones on the same page should help. looks like you can do this from the AWS Management Console, i'm like you however and AWS isn't exactly in my wheel house so hopefully someone else will help out if you have more questions or if that SO page doesn't help at all

Hi @maillme, it depends on the resource configuration. If you have connected to it using SSL/TLS, you'll have to update the certificates. If you connected without them, you probably won't have to do anything on Retool's end. :slightly_smiling_face:
