The shema is now hidden way below the text field and any variables above this one are also hidden. There doesn't seem to be a way to scroll that panel either. Once it gets bugged, deleting the long text will bring back the Schema section but all variables above it are still hidden unless you select a different query then go back to the bugged one.

Apologies for the inconvenience of this bug. I can file a bug report and will let you know any updates I hear from the engineering team.
As a short term work around, you may need to store the string input data inside of another variable(likely an 'in app' variable), then pass the reference to that variable to the input field via double curleys
