Please update the native Jira API resource connection in Retool to use version 3. Many critical endpoints in Jira API 2 have been deprecated, and utilizing a separate resource is not ideal because I really enjoy using the embedded documentation of the native connector.

Ya, we re facing the same issue... we need that Retool platform update this resource, we dont have the new endpoint (/rest/api/3/search/jql) for querying issues using jql.

Same problem here... is there a workaround? Or do I have to rewrite the native integration as a REST API?
Hi all, thanks for the call out. We have an open internal ticket on updating to v3, but for now the work around is to set up a REST API resource with the new endpoints. We will post in this thread when we have updates!
Hi @Mike_M - do u have some time estimation for this upgrade? We have a non-production yet important app, and we want to understand if to invest time in creating the new endpoints (what would be a long agonizing process), or just wait for your fix..
I wish I could give a time estimate but it is still in triage, so I don't have any indication from engineering on how long it will take. I could see it being a quick turn around due to the amount of requests but I can't make any promises unfortunately. Setting up a REST API would likely be faster but I empathize with you that the additional time investment is not ideal.
Again we'll update here as soon as we can say something more concrete.

@Mike_M What would be the best resource to find out when v3 is available? Currently on-prem and I'd need to update this.
Hi folks, I am doing what I can to get eyes on this and have it prioritized. Every +1 helps so thanks for the follow ups! This thread is a solid resource for updates, but for on-prem you can see changes in edge releases here, which are released weekly.

Thanks for getting that added! We are now seeing v3 as an option. Now to troubleshoot their new api as it appears many others are lol…..
yeah, iran into the same issue. Ended up switching to restquery with the v3 endpoints manually. Works fine but would be way smoother if native support got updated
after all, ended up creating a quick workaround through acupowererp.com, since it already supported the V3 endpoints I needed. It saved me from having to patch something up manually in Retool.
Hi @AngryKrtek, support for v3 is out now on cloud, the last two stable releases (3.284 and 3.253.6), and any Edge release since 3.283.
