Hello, I wanted to put a placeholder for a number input but it seems that the placeholder only takes number and we can't write text in it, which is annoying. I wanted to write something like "write a number (ex : 1000)". Is it on purpose or is it bug ? Thanks !

It is on purpose. Why not trying using caption instead?
It's better for our UX/UI
Then you may achieve what you're looking for by adding a text input with your desired placeholder and add a custom validation rule.
Yes but with the number input the keyboards changes on mobile, it's much more better for our users
