NEW: In-place conversion to multipage

You can now convert legacy single-page apps to multipage without needing to leave the IDE. Navigate to the Pages tab, and click Convert to multipage.

If you change your mind and want to undo this change, navigate to the Releases and history Releases and history tab and revert your app to the change before the Migrated app to multipage change.

Creating new single-page apps is no longer supported.

This change is currently rolling out on Retool Cloud and will be available on a subsequent edge version of Self-hosted Retool.

The last time I tried to migrate an app and import the previously separate apps I had created, instead of merging redundant queries, it created copies, which I then had to spend a lot of time cleaning up. Is there a way to import apps and have it ask if you want a query to be merged or duplicated?

Has anyone tested this yet? I have a fairly large single page app with multiple modules. It sounds amazing but are there any pros, cons, tips tricks?

Exciting update! Any guidance on merging multiple apps into a single multi-page app?

We don't currently have existing functionality for choosing specific queries and components to be copied into your app. :frowning:

With the copy page from app functionality, you can copy pages from your existing single page and multipage apps into your multipage app!
