But I was not able to understand it.

Do you have any more details on the use case you are looking to explore using multiple environments or multiple Spaces?
Multiple environments will be for testing code and apps before deploying for the development stage of app building.
@ScottR's link on Retool Spaces explains how different user groups can have their own unique 'versions' of the app, ie. the Space that they have access to where their database is separate as well.
