My goal:
To use a query from my library, set its timeout to 30000ms and have it not time out at 10000ms -
Issue:
My library queries are timing out at 10ms even though I am setting them to a longer time. -
Steps I've taken to troubleshoot:
I have recreated a query from my library as a general rest query. Setting its timeout to higher than 10000ms allows the query to run longer than 10000ms -

Thanks for reaching out, @Shawn_Crocker. Configuring a timeout on a library query isn't the best user experience currently, given the fact that it can be set in two difference places. This is an issue that we are tracking and planning to fix, but don't yet have a timeline. Are you trying to set the timeout in the Query Library or the in-app query settings?
In the app query settings (I didn't know it could be done at the library level)
Like I said, not very user friendly. You can configure the query settings via the
...
menu.
Try inputting the timeout there and see if it correctly applies the setting.
I will give that a try. Thanks.

I ran into the same thing and went nuts for a minuteβ¦+1 on a fix that puts the timeout in one placeπ
