We are using a Self hosted Retool at Enterprise level.
The current limit for a self-hosted resource Block is 40 minutes. Since we have some runs that load millions of data records, we often run into a timeout. Is there any specific reason for those 40 minutes? And is there any way to get it increased?
This limitation has historically been a functional one, more than the result of a deliberate design decision. We recently released "User Task" blocks, though, which forced us to address this and, as such, we're looking to extend the allowed timeout for other blocks, as well.
If you're interested in testing out an early version and are running version 3.114.0-edge or newer, there's a feature flag we can raise for your org.
Ah good question - I would imagine the stable release should be fine, but I'll double check with the team. In the meantime, go ahead and DM me the necessary identifying information - either your instance's license key or primary admin email - and I'll raise that flag for you.
