Goal: I'm trying to copy a page from one multipage app to another, but I get This app is a multipage app. Please select a non-multipage app to import.
Details: The multipage app I'm trying to copy from wasn't supposed to be a multipage app (it only has one page). Converting it to a single page app and then importing it would also work (but don't think that's possible). Or the ability to convert a module to a page in a multipage app would be another alternative (but also don't think that's possible).
Just turning the page into a module will be my plan B, but would rather not do that.

You are correct that the options you laid out are not currently possible. We have active requests in process for:
Importing a page from a multipage app
Exporting a page out of a multipage to a single app
Importing a module as a page
I think short of recreating your page from scratch as a new page in the intended multipage, your proposed idea of exporting the multipage app with your single page as JSON and then importing into a module is the best option.
Agree that it is not ideal though, and I will add your case on to the request for the "importing a page from a multipage app".
