Sometimes it doesn’t make sense to rebuild your automations that already exist on Zapier, but instead it’s best to trigger them from Retool apps via webhooks.
Occasionally, we see orgs building duplicate automations on Retool Workflows and creating flows that generate two sources of truth. In this case, if you aren’t fully migrating to Retool Workflows, it’s also best to just trigger the original Zap from Retool.
In this tutorial on the Bold Tech blog, we walk you through exactly how to do that! When a button is clicked in Retool, we trigger and pass this data into a Zap, and show you how to use this in an automated email.
