Grouping tables by certain attributes it would be super useful to set grouped row attributes especially color differently to allow for customization of UIs.

Can you elaborate a little bit more about what you're looking for in terms of coloring row attributes when grouping is enabled? Screenshots with annotations help a lot!

This is the look I'm after - let's say you group after quarters for some financial report you'd want to highlight the parent so it's easier to parse.
You could potentially accomplish this with nested tables but then it defeats the ease of use and aggregate rows with group by functionality.
