Please add support for GQL (ISO/IEC 39075:2024 - Information technology — Database languages — GQL) and/or Cypher/OpenCypher. GQL is very different from GraphQL.

I've developed a small prototype in React using Cypher/GQL with Neo4j Aura, and I would love to be able to develop something similar on Retool if there as a way to have this integration. You can see the code at (NewApproach/RideHailingGraphApp at main · Flyer-Boy/NewApproach · GitHub )

We don't have any immediate plans to implement such an integration, but are happy to take your feedback and will continue to gauge community interest in such a feature. I'll provide an update here as soon as I have concrete news to share.
Thanks, Daren, for looking into this. I strongly suggest that Retool considers having a GQL ( ISO/IEC 39075:2024 ) integration as it will become as relevant as SQL in the near future. The majority of Graph Databases are adopting the GQL standard as it becomes the “ lingua franca”. Looking forward to seeing this happen.
