Google Analytics query returns 404

I've configured and authenticated a Google Analytics resource and used the GA4 Query Explorer to come up with the Query parameters as per retool documentation but I'm getting a 404 when I post the request.

Google Analytics query tutorial

Hi @unclespeedo,

I don't have a particularly helpful answer for you, but it would appear that API is entirely gone. It does show up in the list here, but it's missing a description and the documentation is also a 404. I'd assume it has been deprecated and the Retool demo should probably be updated/removed.

Thanks @MikeCB, it's helpful in the sense that it's a response with facts that lead to more facts.

Looks like the new method will be via the Google Analytics Data API and it looks like there's a tangentially related forum thread regarding this already Google Analytics 4 and Data API v1 via REST resource issue

Hopefully the Retool team will build native support for the newer method in the future.

Hi all, thanks for the heads up! I created bug reports for the broken Google Analytics resource and for the docs team to update those pages.

In the meantime, that forum link above is a great reference for setting this up with a REST API with the new endpoints
