Retool has mentioned they're working on a copilot for app generation just like you're asking, see this related post:
They haven't announced a release date yet, but I suspect we're dealing with weeks rather than months. They have a big event Retool Summit planned for October, so I think making the assumption that this product would be launched before then is safe.
