Issue: I switched from our own API key back to Retools API key, and then back to ours again on recommendation from Retool support but it’s broken everything and I’m trying to see if I can recover anywayhow before support responds

We whitelisted a number of OpenAI models, but this sounds like a issue on the Retool resource side. I may have to set up OpenAI as a Resource (not an AI resource)Also ps - if your using app builder, and have your own keys, it’ll be using your credits, not Retools.

To anybody else that runs into something similar, I recommend double checking the configuration of the custom provider at /resources/retool_ai. This particular error generally means that the contents of the Base URL input is malformed in some way. ![]()
