Dynamic Row Height Not Based on All Columns

I want my table to have dynamic rows, but not based on every column. There is a column that I want the contents to just overflow and not expand the height of the row.
Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, this is not possible at this time.

As an alternative, I would consider setting one of the static heights and utilizing the cell tooltip add-on (set to the overflow option) in the column editor. It will display the non-truncated formatted content in a tooltip on hover.

That's what I'm using now, but I would like to utilize captions. Unfortunately captions aren't visible when the row height is set to small.
