It would be super nice to be able to disable the image upload in the rich text editor component.
Please let me know if there is already a way to do this without hacking around.

Disabling / hiding the entire toolbar would also work for my case btw.
Noting I've attached this to an internal tracker ticket for this feature request to be able to hide/disable the image upload option in the Rich Text Editor component or hide/disable to full toolbar of options.
Just in case, thought I'd mention the Text input, Text Area, and Editable text, and Editable text area components in case one of those would work for your use case, but it could be you're still looking to leverage other aspects of the Rich Text Editor component that those don't have
