Custom component library is not getting update when releasing new version.
It is seen getting updated in public app.
We are using self hosted retool app

I understand your issue , some times this happens so for this issue you can check your custom component version from app and update it for that follow the steps:
Click on settings of the app and check that latest component selected or not in it.
In that click on custom components
and in that you can find the multiple custom component that you are using so after deploy the custom component you can check the version of it and select that version you want to use.
Also check this forum for issue of instances or sharable space in custom component library. Forum

I can double check but I think that the app being protected may be the cause of the custom component library not updating as expected.
Did @WidleStudioLLP's response help solve the issue or the other thread that they linked in their comment on custom component details shed any light on getting around this?
Any update?
