We have virtualization setup on our server and have a Proxmox LXC (linux container) setup.
Would it be possible to configure and run retool within this container ?
If yes, how can we best do this ?

By virtualization set up, do you mean you have a Virtual Machine that you have access to?
If you have a linux container, you should be able to clone the retool repo, set up any environment variables you need and then run the commands needed to set it up with Docker/Kubernetes/Helm.
I am not familiar with Proxmox LXC, but as long as it has a Linux machine there should be corresponding docs to help you figure out the steps to deploy your self-hosted instance!
