Access child elements of "List View (new)

Hi. It is unclear how to access the child elements from a List View (new). A similar example exists Access values of components in ListView but that is for the old List View. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

As you noted, this isn't supported in the new listView yet but we plan to add support for this feature.

I don't have an eta quite yet, but you can continue to use the legacy listView until we add this functionality

Any update here? I can't seem to see the legacy listView so I assume this has been implemented?

Hi @Jake_Slack, welcome to the forum!

Although we don't support accessing child elements from outside of the List View component, we can use State Variables to hold on data that lives within components inside of the List View.

Here are a couple of examples:

Hey @Ricardo_Montoya! You might try adding an event handler that stores the index of the listview row in a temp state. Nested collection view on mobile

We can definitely create the components programmatically using the Custom Collection view, we just can't nest another one. If we have different pages for each exercise, we should be able to make this work.
