My company is currently running a very old self-hosted version, 2.117.21, and we’re looking to upgrade to the latest stable version, 3.52. Could you please guide us on the best procedures to follow for this upgrade?
Best practices recommend upgrading incrementally (e.g., 3.0, 3.10, 3.20...) and verify each installation, but we are really behind in versions.
Hey @MSS! Welcome back to the community and thanks for reaching out.
I would still strongly recommend upgrading incrementally, as that is the best way to ensure the necessary database migrations run with integrity. You can reference the release timeline here as a guide.
We started publishing a quarterly stable release in early 2024, so it should be much easier to upgrade going forward!
