It is not possible to use data from the user attributes in a custom authorization of an API resource, I have tried everything but no success.
I use the cloud version of retool

Hi @Beaudin_Greve! Just checking, is this in the app or resource settings? There is a known bug when using {{ current_user.metadata }} in resource setting, and the fix will be released this week.
