This would be tremendously helpful for apps with large numbers of queries and variables.
A current app I'm working on will end up with 50+, and I'm struggling to organize these with only a single level of folders.

if subfolders could have a setting to enable an api route (like folders at /api/* in next.js) w an event handler I could die happy
