Sorting Table Using Date Column

Hello there,
I am trying to sort my table data by the dates from some queries. Now, the problem is, I queried my data from the date range "08-01-2022" till "05-14-2023" and according to my understanding, it should sort the data from "08-01-2022" if I select the ascending order and "05-14-2023" for descending one but right now, it is working like which I mentioned below. Any leads can be highly appreciated thanks

Hi @Muhammad_Hamza! Could you share a bit more about the column settings you're using for your Date column? The issue doesn't seem to be reproducible with the Date formatted column in Demo Data so trying to understand how this instance may differ
