The bug discussed in this article: .selectedRowSource out of sync with .data after data update seems to still exist if the table is not in view. I would continue that discussion but it is closed.

Hey @shaya! We've got an internal ticket logged for this. You cannot change the selectedRow or refresh the table's state when the table isn't visible. Our engineering team is aware, and I'll update this topic as I get any additional information to share.
