Running a query on selected rows in a table

Greetings.. I would like to do something very similar to this tutorial.. How do I add checkboxes so that I can run a query on specific rows I select in a table?

Is it possible to do bulk write by Looping through each table row?

I believe you should be able to add a custom column (checkbox column type) & then run your query on tablename.recordUpdates
