Is it possible to push a release to staging and try it out on mobile not web? 
Hey @Steven_W - Unfortunately this is not a current capability: the mobile apps on mobile devices only have the capability to display the live/published version. I'll go ahead and file a feature request for you though.

In the meantime there could be a solution: I copied the app and changed the access permissions (business tier). Then I pushed a new version for the new app (the copy). This way I could test it while the original is still in draft.
