Publishing new builder apps on a custom domain

The official documentation now says that the new apps can be published on custom domains ( Publish an app | Retool Docs ) - however, while publishing, I do not see a way to link the custom domain. How does the URL for the new apps ({orgSubdomain}--{appName}.retool.app) translate to a custom domain URL?

Hi there, I’m on the product team at Retool. I wanted to clarify a couple things:

• We don’t currently support publishing apps on custom domains, though will very soon. I’ll update this thread once that’s available.
• Once that feature is live, you’ll be able to publish apps on a custom domain if you’re using the * custom domains feature for your organization.
• Apps published on a custom domain will be hosted at yourdomain.com/rr/app/{{appName}} rather than ({orgSubdomain}--{appName}.retool.app

Live on cloud • All plans Retool now supports publishing apps on custom domains. If you self-host Retool (which inherently uses a custom domain) or use a custom domain on a cloud instance, your apps are published to the domain you define in the following format: https://example.retool.com/rr/app/<appName>.
