If I host my own backend with JWT authentication and use those tokens to create restricted flows inside Retool, are the users considered "retool users"?

Hey there 
It sounds to me like you are referencing an in app flow that returns a token, which has to do with your resources. A user is anyone with their own login access to Retool, anyone with a Retool account -- what you mention here should not count as a Retool user.
