Power Automate Fails to Connect to Retool PostgreSQL Despite Installing Npgsql 4.0.16

Hello everyone,
I'm currently working on integrating Power Automate with Retool's PostgreSQL database to automate data entry processes. To facilitate this, I've set up an On-Premises Data Gateway on my Windows Server 2019.

What I've Done:

  1. Downloaded Npgsql 4.0.16 Retrieved the MSI installer from the official Npgsql releases page.
  2. Installed Npgsql 4.0.16: Ran the installer on my server.
  3. Restarted the Gateway: Restarted the On-Premises Data Gateway service to apply changes.

Despite these steps, the error persists, and Power Automate still cannot connect to the PostgreSQL database of Retool.

I'm not very familiar with the Microsoft ecosystem, so have a few clarifying questions.

  • Are you running a cloud or self-hosted Retool instance?
  • Is Power Automate running in the cloud or on your Windows server?

My German is a bit rusty, but the error message seems to indicate that Power Automate isn't even able to detect your installation of Npgsql.
